OMBENI KATIKA JINA LA YESU: USIKATE TAMAA
ZABURI 74:1-11
1 Ee Mungu, mbona umetutupa milele? Kwa nini hasira yako inatoka moshi Juu ya kondoo wa malisho yako?
2 Ulikumbuke kusanyiko lako, Ulilolinunua zamani. Ulilolikomboa liwe kabila ya urithi wako, Mlima Sayuni ulioufanya maskani yako.
3 Upainulie miguu yako palipoharibika milele; Adui ameufanya kila ubaya katika patakatifu.
4 Watesi wako wamenguruma kati ya kusanyiko lako; Wameweka bendera zao ziwe alama.
5 Wanaonekana kama watu wainuao mashoka, Waikate miti ya msituni.
6 Na sasa nakishi yake yote pia Wanaivunja-vunja kwa mashoka na nyundo.
7 Wamepatia moto patakatifu pako; Wamelinajisi kao la jina lako hata chini.
8 Walisema mioyoni mwao, Na tuwaangamize kabisa; Mahali penye mikutano ya Mungu Wamepachoma moto katika nchi pia.
9 Hatuzioni ishara zetu, wala sasa hakuna nabii, Wala kwetu hakuna ajuaye, hata lini?
10 Ee Mungu, mtesi atalaumu hata lini? Adui alidharau jina lako hata milele?
11 Mbona unaurudisha mkono wako, Naam, mkono wako wa kuume, Uutoe kifuani mwako, Ukawaangamize kabisa.
Nakuomba uisome tena hii Zaburi kabla hujaendelea kusoma hiki ninachokuandikia. Kisha chukua muda una tafakari maneno ya Mfalme Daudi.
Hivi unajua kuwa unaweza kujipangia kushinda au kushindwa maishani? Hii ni kweli kabisa, na uamuzi wa kufanya hivyo ni wako wewe mwenyewe! Suala la vipingamizi vya maisha au changamoto si kitu, hivyo havikwepeki, Ila uamuzi wa kushinda au kushindwa, ni wako wewe peke yako!
Kila safari ya maisha ina changamoto zake, ina fahari zake, na pia ina kuanguka! Ni lazima ujipange kupambana nazo, hazikwepeki! Na unapoendelea jinsi mwaka 2017 unavyozidi kwisha utaendelea kukutana na hayo yote. Kumbuka, Askari anayekwenda vitani bila silaha, hayuko tayari kwa vita. Huyo watamrudisha nyumbani maiti, kwa kuwa hakujipanga vema kupambana.
Utakubaliana nami kuwa katika maisha, kuna wakati mambo yanapinda usivyotarajia mpaka unachanganyikiwa, licha ya maombi, na kufunga, na kujitoa kwa utumishi na sadaka kwa Mungu. Lakini pia kuna wakati hali inakuwa ya neema na yenye kukupa furaha na amani mpaka unatamani dunia iwe hivyo siku zote. Ndivyo maisha yalivyo!
Ukisoma neno la leo, unaona Daudi anasema;
" Ee Mungu, mbona umetutupa milele?" (mstari wa 1)
" Mbona unaurudisha mkono wako, Naam, mkono wako wa kuume..." (mstari wa 11)
Ukijiuliza, Nani kamwambia kuwa Mungu amemwacha? Ni akili yake mwenyewe. Na wewe pia jinsi mwaka unavyoisha, na maisha yakiendelea, utakutana na changamoto, tena si ndogo! Kikubwa ni kujipanga! Mipango mazuri ni siri kubwa ya ushindi. Jifunze kuwa makini kwenye malengo uliyojiwekea! Jifunze kupambana na mambo yatakayokupotezea lengo kama vile unavyopambana na dhambi, na umasikini, havitofautiani!
Kumbuka kuwa kwenye ulingo wa mapambano, yule ashindaye, anaweza kuwa ameanguka mara nyingi, ila Siri ni kuwa hakujali kuanguka, ni sehemu ya mchezo! Hakuna atakayekufanya usiinuke tena ukianguka, kama wewe ukataka kuendelea.
Siri ya mafanikio ni kuanza upya na kuendelea mbele.
Nami naona, usipokata tamaa, njia yako itafunguka na vipingamizi vyako na vya familia yako vikianguka, katika Jina la Yesu! Inuka na ujitie nguvu hata kwa machozi, mtu wa Mungu, ukang'are mwaka huu. Ng'ang'ania kwa Mungu, wakati wa Bwana uko karibu kukufungukia!
PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS: KEEP HOLDING ON
PSALM 74:1-11
A maskil[a] of Asaph.
1 O God, why have you rejected us forever?
Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
2 Remember the nation you purchased long ago,
the people of your inheritance, whom you redeemed—
Mount Zion, where you dwelt.
3 Turn your steps toward these everlasting ruins,
all this destruction the enemy has brought on the sanctuary.
4 Your foes roared in the place where you met with us;
they set up their standards as signs.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes
to cut through a thicket of trees.
6 They smashed all the carved paneling
with their axes and hatchets.
7 They burned your sanctuary to the ground;
they defiled the dwelling place of your Name.
8 They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely!”
They burned every place where God was worshiped in the land.
9 We are given no signs from God;
no prophets are left,
and none of us knows how long this will be.
10 How long will the enemy mock you, God?
Will the foe revile your name forever?
11 Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand?
Take it from the folds of your garment and destroy them!

Please read the scripture again! Before reading on try to digest what King David is saying.
Do you know that you can program your body for success or failure? Yes! The choice is entirely yours! No matter the barriers and storms or what we can call "Storm Fences", the decision to fail or succeed is yours and yours alone! Every journey has its challenges, triumphs and failures. You must program your mind to weather the storms (problems) you will face on the way as this year 2017 progresses. A soldier, who goes to war without a gun, is not ready for the battle. He will be sent back to his family classified as BID (Brought In Dead).
There are going to be periods that you wonder why things are not going the way you had expected despite your prayers, fasting and your dedication to God. Also, there would be times when joy will so flood your life that you would think it would not end. Such is life!
In this scripture, in his pain, David asks,
"O God why have you cast us off forever" (verse 1)
"Why have you drawn away your hand, even your right hand?" (verse 11)
Who told him God has cast him off? It was his mind. And as this year progresses and as you journey through life, obstacles will come, but preparation is the strategy for winning. Learn also to focus on your determined destination. Fight distractions as you will fight sin and poverty.
Always remember that, the man who wins, may have been counted out several times, but he did not hear the referee.
Nobody can keep you down, unless you decide not to rise again. The secret of success is to start from scratch and keep on scratching. If you don't give up, I can see every battle or storm fencing confronting you and your family being broken today, in Jesus name. Rise with courage even in tears and shine child of God. Hold on to God and hold out till your season comes! Amen.
