MONDAY 27TH MAY 2019 MORNING
Genesis 25:21-22 New International Version (NIV)
21 Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. 22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.
This week we are thinking about prayer. In these verses we hear of two prayers. Isaac prayed to God on behalf of his wife. God heard and answered his prayers and enabled Rebekah to become pregnant. Rebekah was puzzled about what was happening to her so she talked to God.
We can pray many types of prayers for our own needs and for other people. God will hear and answer our prayers in His own time and according to His will.

MWANZO 25:21-22
21 Isaka akamwomba Bwana kwa ajili ya mke wake, maana alikuwa tasa. Naye Bwana akamwitikia, na Rebeka mkewe akachukua mimba.
22 Watoto wakashindana tumboni mwake. Naye akasema, Ikiwa ni hivi, kuishi kwanifaa nini? Akaenda kumwuliza Bwana.
Wiki hii tunajifunza kuhusu maombi. Katika mistari hii michache tunasoma habari za watu wawili wakiomba. Kwanza Isaka aliomba kwa ajili ya mke wake Rebeka ili Mungu amhurumie aweze kupata mtoto. Mungu alijibu maombi yake na Rebeka alishika mimba ya mapacha. Rebeka hakuelewa nini kinaendelea na wale mapacha timboni na yeye alimwomba Mungu.
Tunaweza kujiombea na pia kuombea watu wengine. Kuna maombi mbalimbali. Tuwe na bidii kuogea na Mungu katika maombi.
