Romans 5:12-16 New International Version (NIV)
Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.
15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.
The Apostle Paul explains how in Adam, that is naturally, we are all sinners. But in Christ our sins are forgiven. It is by Grace that we are saved. This is the gift of God not by our own efforts. Let us trust in Jesus.

RUMI 5:12-16
12 Kwa hiyo, kama kwa mtu mmoja dhambi iliingia ulimwenguni, na kwa dhambi hiyo mauti; na hivyo mauti ikawafikia watu wote kwa sababu wote wamefanya dhambi;
13 maana kabla ya sheria dhambi ilikuwamo ulimwenguni, lakini dhambi haihesabiwi isipokuwapo sheria;
14 walakini mauti ilitawala tangu Adamu mpaka Musa, nayo iliwatawala hata wao wasiofanya dhambi ifananayo na kosa la Adamu, aliye mfano wake yeye atakayekuja.
15 Lakini karama ile haikuwa kama lile kosa; kwa maana ikiwa kwa kukosa kwake yule mmoja wengi walikufa, zaidi sana neema ya Mungu, na kipawa kilicho katika neema yake mwanadamu mmoja Yesu Kristo kimezidi kwa ajili ya wale wengi.
16 Wala kadiri ya yule mtu mmoja aliyefanya dhambi si kadiri ya kile kipawa; kwa maana hukumu ilikuja kwa njia ya mtu mmoja ikaleta adhabu; bali karama ya neema ilikuja kwa ajili ya makosa mengi, ikaleta kuhesabiwa haki.
17 Kwa maana ikiwa kwa kukosa mtu mmoja mauti ilitawala kwa sababu ya yule mmoja, zaidi sana wao wapokeao wingi wa neema
Mtume Paulo anatuelezea habari za Adamu, mtu wa kwanza. Kwa kuzaliwa kama binadamu tumerithi dhambi kutoka Adamu. Lakini katika Yesu Kristo, kama Wakristo tunapewa Wokovu kwa neema kama zawadi kutoka kwa Mungu. Tumshukuru Mungu na tumtegemee Yesu Kristo.
