WEDNESDAY 19TH JULY 2017 MORNING
John 1:11-13 New International Version (NIV)
11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
These words written by the Apostle John speak about The Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem. He was born as a Jew in the nation of Israel. He came to fulfill the Prophecies of Jewish Prophets. Yet many Jewish people at that time did not recognize who He is. They did not accept Jesus as the long awaited Messiah. This is still true. The majority of Jewish people do not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
Do you trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour ? He is the Messiah of history but He is still alive and one day He will return to earth in Glory to judge the living and the dead.
If you believe in Him you are a child of God. You are born again by the Holy Spirit. Continue to trust in Jesus Christ.

YOHANA 1:11-13
11 Alikuja kwake, wala walio wake hawakumpokea.
12 Bali wote waliompokea aliwapa uwezo wa kufanyika watoto wa Mungu, ndio wale waliaminio jina lake;
13 waliozaliwa, si kwa damu, wala si kwa mapenzi ya mwili, wala si kwa mapenzi ya mtu, bali kwa Mungu.
Maneno haya yaliandikwa na Mtume Yohana yaliandikwa kuhusu Yesu Kristo. Yesu ni Mesihi aliyetabiriwa na Manabii wa Kiyahudi. Yesu alizaliwa Bethlehemu na Bikira Maria. Lakini wayahudi wengi hawakumwamini Yesu wakati ule na hata leo. Bado wanasubiri Mesihi.
Wewe je! Umemwamini Yesu Kristo kama Mesihi na Bwana na Mwokozi wako? Kama ndiyo wewe ni Mwana wa Mungu.
Umezaliwa mara ya pili na Roho Mtakatifu. Endelea kumtegemea Yesu.
