THURSDAY 15TH NOVEMBER 2018 MORNING
Job 14:1-5 New International Version (NIV)
1 “Mortals, born of woman,
are of few days and full of trouble.
2 They spring up like flowers and wither away;
like fleeting shadows, they do not endure.
3 Do you fix your eye on them?
Will you bring them[a] before you for judgment?
4 Who can bring what is pure from the impure?
No one!
5 A person’s days are determined;
you have decreed the number of his months
and have set limits he cannot exceed.

These are words of Job when talking to his friends. Our lives are in God’s hands. He knows the future. He knows how long we will live on earth and when we will die. Let us commit our lives into God’s hands and ask Him to guide and bless us.

AYUBU 14:1-5
1 Mwanadamu aliyezaliwa na mwanamke Siku zake za kuishi si nyingi, naye hujaa taabu.
2 Yeye huchanua kama vile ua, kisha hukatwa; Hukimbia kama kivuli, wala hakai kamwe.
3 Nawe, je! Wafumbua macho yako kumwangalia mtu kama yeye, Na kunitia katika hukumu pamoja nawe?
4 Ni nani awezaye kutoa kitu kilicho safi kitoke katika kitu kichafu? Hapana awezaye.
5 Kwa kuwa siku zake zimeamriwa, hesabu ya miezi yake unayo wewe, Nawe umemwekea mipaka yake asiyoweza kuipita;
Haya ni baadhi ya maneno ya Ayubu wakati alikuwa anajadiliana na marafiki zake. Maisha yetu yapo mikononi wa Mungu. Mungu anajua kila kitu kitayokachotokea. Mungu anajua tutakufa lini na kwa njia gani. Tujikabidhi kwa Mungu na tumwombe atuongoze na kutubariki.
