Acts 5:34-42 New International Version (NIV)
34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered.38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
40 His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41 The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
Peter and the other apostle obeyed the Great Commission given to them by The Lord Jesus Christ. They preached the Gospel faithfully and baptized the converts and started churches. This brought them into opposition with the Jewish authorities. But they remained faithful. Because of their faithful teachings and consistent lifestyle they lead many people to faith in Christ.
The wise word of Gamaliel were fulfilled. The truth of Christianity has been shown. This faith has spread throughout the World.

MATENDO 5:34-42
34 Lakini mtu mmoja, Farisayo, jina lake Gamalieli, mwalimu wa torati, mwenye kuheshimiwa na watu wote, akasimama katika baraza, akaamuru mitume wawekwe nje kitambo kidogo,
35 akawaambia, Enyi waume wa Israeli, jihadharini jinsi mtakavyowatenda watu hawa.
36 Kwa sababu kabla ya siku hizi aliondoka Theuda, akijidai ya kuwa yeye ni mtu mkuu, watu wapata mia nne wakashikamana naye; naye aliuawa na wote waliomsadiki wakatawanyika wakawa si kitu.
37 Baada ya mtu huyo aliondoka Yuda Mgalilaya, siku zile za kuandikiwa orodha, akawavuta watu kadha wa kadha nyuma yake, naye pia akapotea na wote waliomsadiki wakatawanyika.
38 Basi sasa nawaambia, Jiepusheni na watu hawa, waacheni; kwa kuwa shauri hili au kazi hii ikiwa imetoka kwa binadamu, itavunjwa,
39 lakini ikiwa imetoka kwa Mungu hamwezi kuivunja; msije mkaonekana kuwa mnapigana na Mungu.
40 Wakakubali maneno yake; nao walipowaita mitume, wakawapiga, wakawaamuru wasinene kwa jina lake Yesu; kisha wakawaacha waende zao.
41 Nao wakatoka katika ile baraza, wakifurahi kwa sababu wamehesabiwa kuwa wamestahili kuaibishwa kwa ajili ya Jina hilo.
42 Na kila siku, ndani ya hekalu na nyumbani mwao, hawakuacha kufundisha na kuhubiri habari njema za Yesu kwamba ni Kristo.
Mitume walikuwa waaminifu kwa wito waliopewa na Yesu Kristo. Walihubiri Injili na kubatiza waamini na kuanzisha makanisa. Msimamo wao uliwaletea shida kutoka kwa viongozi wa Dini ya Kiyahudi. Lakini Mfarisayo Gamalieli alikuwa na hekima. Dini ya Ukristo ni ya kweli na imesambaa duniani nzima.
Sisi tukimshuhudia Yesu kwa uaminifu na kuishi maisha ya Kikristo tutavuta watu kumwamini Yesu.
