TUESDAY 27TH MAY 2020 MORNING
James 5:13-15 New International Version (NIV)
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
This passage reminds us to see the reality of God's connection to everything in our lives; and to turn to Him in all circumstances trusting in His will and purposes.
God's intention for us is that not only are we to receive health, peace and joy from Him but that we may also receive it from Him through one another. We are to ask those who are more mature in the faith, who have a ministry of shepherding us to pray over us, on our behalf.

YAKOBO 5:13-15
13 Mtu wa kwenu amepatikana na mabaya? Na aombe. Ana moyo wa kuchangamka? Na aimbe zaburi.
14 Mtu wa kwenu amekuwa hawezi? Na awaite wazee wa kanisa; nao wamwombee, na kumpaka mafuta kwa jina la Bwana.
15 Na kule kuomba kwa imani kutamwokoa mgonjwa yule, na Bwana atamwinua; hata ikiwa amefanya dhambi, atasamehewa.
Kifungu hili kinatukumbusha kuona wazi jinsi Mungu anavyohusika na kila jambo katika maisha yetu; na kutuelekeza kumgeukia katika mambo yote, tukiamini katika mapenzi na makusudi yake.
Mpango wa Mungu kwetu siyo tu kwamba tupokee afya, amani na furaha toka kwake, ila tunaweza kupokea hayo yote toka kwake kupitia kwa wenzetu. Tuwajulishe wale waliokomaa katika imani, wenye huduma ya kutuchunga, ili waombe kwa ajili yetu.
