JUMATANO TAREHE 15 SEPTEMBA 2021, ASUBUHI.

2 Wakorintho 1:3-7

3 Na ahimidiwe Mungu, Baba wa Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo, Baba wa rehema, Mungu wa faraja yote;

Mungu hujishughulisha na mambo yetu;

Mtume Paulo anaeleza na kushukuru juu ya faraja itokayo  kwa Mungu katika hali ya kila aina. Paulo anakiri kupata faraja baada ya dhiki katika utume wake;

2 Wakorintho 1:8

Siku njema.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

God is concerned with our affairs;

The apostle Paul explains and appreciates the comfort that God gives in every situation. Paul confesses to finding comfort after tribulation in his mission;

2 Corinthians 1: 8

8 For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened [to us] in Asia, that we were excessively pressed beyond [our] power, so as to despair even of living.

The apostle Paul teaches us that true comfort comes from God. In any situation of suffering, trouble, distress, hunger, sickness, deprivation etc. if we rely on God we are comforted.

May our hearts be turned to the Lord, for he will comfort us in every way, for he cares for us.

Good day.
