Yeremia 30:10-11

Mungu hujishughulisha na mambo yetu;

Nabii Yeremia alitumwa kuleta ujumbe wa ahadi ya Israeli kurejeshwa Yerusalemu toka Babeli walipokuwa mateka. Kupitia nabii Yeremia, Bwana anatumia neno "usiogope" kuwatia moyo kwa ahadi ya kurejeshwa Yerusalemu.

Sisi tunaogopa nini?

Siku njema.

Jeremiah 30:10-11 (NIV)

10 “‘So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant;
    do not be dismayed, Israel,’
declares the Lord.
‘I will surely save you out of a distant place,
    your descendants from the land of their exile.
Jacob will again have peace and security,
    and no one will make him afraid.
11 I am with you and will save you,’
    declares the Lord.
‘Though I completely destroy all the nations
    among which I scatter you,
    I will not completely destroy you.
I will discipline you but only in due measure;
    I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’

God is concerned with our affairs;

The prophet Jeremiah was sent to bring back God’s message to Israel, the promise to restore Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon. Through the prophet Jeremiah, the Lord uses the word "fear not" to encourage them with the promise of restoration to Jerusalem.

What are we afraid of?

God's promise to us is salvation for everyone who believes. What are you waiting for to believe? And you, who have believed, do not be afraid, stand firm in the Lord, and do not be afraid.

To live in sin is to be a captive of the devil. The Lord has promised to forgive us when we repent. That is why in verse 11 despite saying he will be with us, he still says he will return to judgment. It means that He calls us to do good, that we may dwell in His kingdom.

Good day.
