Wafilipi 1:27-30
26 Hata mzidi kuona fahari katika Kristo Yesu juu yangu kwa sababu ya kuwapo kwangu pamoja nanyi tena.
27 Lakini mwenendo wenu na uwe kama inavyoipasa Injili ya Kristo, ili, nikija na kuwaona ninyi, au nisipokuwapo, niyasikie mambo yenu, kama mnasimama imara katika roho moja, kwa moyo mmoja mkiishindania imani ya Injili;
28 wala hamwaogopi adui zenu, katika neno lo lote; kwao hao ni ishara mathubuti ya kupotea, bali kwenu ninyi ni ishara ya wokovu, huo utokao kwa Mungu.
29 Maana mmepewa kwa ajili ya Kristo, si kumwamini tu, ila na kuteswa kwa ajili yake;
30 mkiwa na mashindano yale yale mliyoyaona kwangu, na kusikia kwamba ninayo hata sasa.
Mwenendo wenu uwe na hekima;
Mtume Paulo anaandikia Wafilipi akiwasihi kuwa mwenendo wao uwe kama ipasavyo Injili ya Kristo. Paulo anawataka kuishi kwa neno la Kristo. Kwa kuishi kwa neno la Kristo, anawahakikishia kuwa salama, akiwaambia wasiogope adui wa aina yoyote. Watashinda.
Asubuhi ya leo tujihoji nafsi zetu, kama tunaitika wito wa Mtume Paulo, tukienenda kama inavyoipasa Injili ya Kristo. Tunaitwa kumcha Bwana, tukiongozwa na Injili katika utume wetu.

PHILIPPIANS 1:26-30 (NIV)
26 so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me.
Life Worthy of the Gospel
27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit,[a] striving together as one for the faith of the gospel 28 without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. 29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him, 30 since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.

Be wise in your behavior;
The apostle Paul writes to the Philippians exhorting them to conduct themselves in harmony with the Gospel of Christ. Paul wants them to live by the word of Christ. By living the word of Christ, he assures them of safety, telling them not to fear any kind of enemy. They will win.
This morning let us examine ourselves, as we respond to the call of the Apostle Paul, as we walk according to the Gospel of Christ. We are called to fear the Lord, guided by the Gospel in our mission.
