Tito 1:1-4
[1]Paulo, mtumwa wa Mungu, na mtume wa Yesu Kristo; kwa ajili ya imani ya wateule wa Mungu, na ujuzi wa kweli ile iletayo utauwa;
[2]katika tumaini la uzima wa milele, ambao Mungu asiyeweza kusema uongo aliuahidi tangu milele;
[3]akalifunua neno lake kwa majira yake katika ule ujumbe niliowekewa amana mimi kwa amri ya Mwokozi wetu Mungu;
[4]kwa Tito, mwanangu hasa katika imani tuishirikiyo. Neema na iwe kwako na amani zitokazo kwa Mungu Baba na kwa Kristo Yesu Mwokozi wetu.
Bwana analijia Kanisa lake;
Mtume Paulo anatoa salamu kwa Tito akimkumbusha kuwa Bwana analo tumaini la uzima wa milele kama alivyoahidi tokea mwanzo. Anamsihi Tito kudumu katika imani, kwa neno la Mungu katika majira yote apewayo na BWANA.
Neno la Mungu ndiyo kweli idumuyo milele, ambalo kwa kuliishi tunalo tumaini la uzima wa milele katika Kristo Yesu. Yesu anatuita kudumu katika tumaini hili, tukimshuhudia kwa uaminifu ili asituache anapolijia Kanisa lake.

TITUS 1:1-4
1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— 2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, 3 and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,
4 To Titus, my true son in our common faith:
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
The Lord is coming to His Church;
The apostle Paul greets Titus as he reminds him that the Lord has the hope of eternal life as He promised from the beginning. He urges Titus to remain steadfast in the faith, according to the word of God in all the days given to him by the Lord.
The Word of God is the eternal truth, which by living we have the hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus. Jesus calls us to abide in this hope, bearing witness to Him faithfully so that He will not forsake us when He comes to His Church.
