WEDNESDAY 11TH DECEMBER 2019 MORNING
Revelation 22:6-9 New International Version (NIV)
6 The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”
7 “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”
Christ's omniscience is an evident proof of his divinity; because He knows all things to come, as well as all things past. When Christ says that these things shall shortly be done; we learn that, the time of the church's suffering is a limited time, it is a short time after which shall follow an eternal deliverance, and a great reward for the faithful ones.

6 Kisha akaniambia, Maneno haya ni amini na kweli. Naye Bwana, Mungu wa roho za manabii, alimtuma malaika wake kuwaonyesha watumwa wake mambo ambayo hayana budi kuwako upesi.
7 Na tazama, naja upesi; heri yeye ayashikaye maneno ya unabii wa kitabu hiki.
8 Nami Yohana ndimi niliyeyasikia na kuyaona mambo hayo. Na hapo nilipoyasikia na kuyaona nalianguka, ili nisujudu mbele ya miguu ya malaika yule mwenye kunionyesha hayo.
9 Naye akaniambia, Angalia, usifanye hivi; mimi ni mjoli wako, na wa ndugu zako manabii, na wa wale wayashikao maneno ya kitabu hiki. Msujudie Mungu.
Kristo anajua mambo ya nyakati zote; na huu ndio ushuhuda kuwa yeye ni Mungu, kwa sababu anajua mambo yajayo, na yale yaliyopita. Kristo anaposema kuwa mambo haya yatapita kwa kitambo kifupi; tunajifunza kuwa, kipindi cha kanisa kuteswa ni kifupi, ambapo baada yake utafuata ukombozi wa milele na thawabu kwa wale watakaokuwa waaminifu hata mwisho.
