Psalm 19:7-14 New International Version (NIV)
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
The Psalmist meditates upon God’s Word in the Bible. He treasure’s God’s words more than gold or precious stones. He speaks of how God’s Word instructs and guides and warns us.
Do you truly value God’s Word? Do you read the Bible daily and apply it to your life?

ZABURI 10:7-14
7 Sheria ya Bwana ni kamilifu, Huiburudisha nafsi. Ushuhuda wa Bwana ni amini, Humtia mjinga hekima.
8 Maagizo ya Bwana ni ya adili, Huufurahisha moyo. Amri ya Bwana ni safi, Huyatia macho nuru.
9 Kicho cha Bwana ni kitakatifu, Kinadumu milele. Hukumu za Bwana ni kweli, Zina haki kabisa.
10 Ni za kutamanika kuliko dhahabu, Kuliko wingi wa dhahabu safi. Nazo ni tamu kuliko asali, Kuliko sega la asali.
11 Tena mtumishi wako huonywa kwazo, Katika kuzishika kuna thawabu nyingi.
12 Ni nani awezaye kuyatambua makosa yake? Unitakase na mambo ya siri.
13 Umzuie mtumishi wako asitende mambo ya kiburi, Yasinitawale mimi. Ndipo nitakapokuwa kamili, Nami nitakuwa safi, sina kosa lililo kubwa.
14 Maneno ya kinywa changu, Na mawazo ya moyo wangu, Yapate kibali mbele zako, Ee Bwana, Mwamba wangu, na mwokozi wangu.
Mtunga zaburi anasifu Neno la Mungu. Anaithamini kuliko dhahabu . Anaona Neno la Mungu na sheria za Mungu ni tamu kuliko asali. Ansaifu Neno jinsi linaelimisha, na kuongoza na kuonya.
