1 Timothy 1:12-17 New International Version (NIV)
The Lord’s Grace to Paul
12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
The Apostle Paul gives thanks to God for the way in which he has been saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He knows that he does not deserve this salvation. It is a gift of God.
What is your testimony? Have you truly trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Think again about the wonderful message of Easter and trust in Him.

1 TIMOTHEO 1:12-17
12 Nami namshukuru Kristo Yesu Bwana wetu, aliyenitia nguvu kwa sababu aliniona kuwa mwaminifu, akaniweka katika utumishi wake;
13 ingawa hapo kwanza nalikuwa mtukanaji, mwenye kuudhi watu, mwenye jeuri, lakini nalipata rehema kwa kuwa nalitenda hivyo kwa ujinga, na kwa kutokuwa na imani.
14 Na neema ya Bwana wetu ilizidi sana, pamoja na imani na pendo lililo katika Kristo Yesu.
15 Ni neno la kuaminiwa, tena lastahili kukubalika kabisa, ya kwamba Kristo Yesu alikuja ulimwenguni awaokoe wenye dhambi; ambao wa kwanza wao ni mimi.
16 Lakini kwa ajili hii nalipata rehema, ili katika mimi wa kwanza, Yesu Kristo audhihirishe uvumilivu wake wote; niwe kielelezo kwa wale watakaomwamini baadaye, wapate uzima wa milele.
17 Sasa kwa Mfalme wa milele, asiyeweza kuona uharibifu, asiyeonekana, Mungu peke yake, na iwe heshima na utukufu milele na milele. Amina.
Mtume Paulo anatoa ushuhuda wake. Anamshukuru Mungu kwa jinsi alivyomwokoa kupitia kifo cha Yesu Kristo msalabani. Paulo anajua hastahili wokovu. Ni zawadi kutoka Mungu.
Wewe je ! Unamtegemea Yesu Kristo kama Bwana na Mwokozi wako? Tafakari tena kuhusu ujumbe mzuri wa Pasaka na ukabidhi maisha yako kwa Yesu.
