JUMATATU TAREHE 27 SEPTEMBA 2021, ASUBUHI.
Kumbukumbu la Torati 30:15-20
15 Angalia, nimekuwekea leo mbele yako uzima na mema, na mauti na mabaya;
16 kwa hivi nikuagizavyo leo kumpenda BWANA, Mungu wako, kuenenda katika njia zake, na kushika maagizo yake, na amri zake, na hukumu zake, upate kuwa hai na kuongezeka; BWANA, Mungu wako, apate kukubarikia katika nchi uingiayo kuimiliki.
17 Lakini moyo wako ukikengeuka, usipotaka kusikiza, lakini ukavutwa kando kwenda kuabudu miungu mingine, na kuitumikia;
18 nawahubiri hivi leo hakika mtaangamia; hamtazifanya siku zenu kuwa nyingi juu ya nchi, uivukiayo Yordani, uingie kuimiliki.
19 Nazishuhudiza mbingu na nchi juu yenu hivi leo, kuwa nimekuwekea mbele yako uzima na mauti, baraka na laana; basi chagua uzima, ili uwe hai, wewe na uzao wako;
20 kumpenda BWANA, Mungu wako, kuitii sauti yake, na kushikamana naye; kwani hiyo ndiyo uzima wako, na wingi wa siku zako; upate kukaa katika nchi BWANA aliyowaapia baba zako, Ibrahimu, na Isaka, na Yakobo, kuwa atawapa.
Uchaguzi wa busara;
Mungu aliwapa Israeli uchaguzi juu ya uzima na mema, mauti na mabaya. Bwana aliwaamuru kushika maagizo yake, wakienenda katika njia zake ili wapate baraka.
Matokeo ya kutoshika mausia haya ni kuangamia, na kutopata siku nyingi hapa duniani.
Mungu anatuita kulishika neno lake katika maisha yetu, ametuwekea mbele yetu kuchagua kati ya uzima na mauti, baraka na laana. Anatuita kuchagua uzima, ili tuwe hai, sisi na uzao wetu. Huu ni uthibitisho wa wokovu kwetu, sisi na Kanisa lote, miaka yote. Kwamba Kanisa linalomwabudu Mungu katika roho na kweli litadumu milele na kuuona uso wake.
Tutafakari nafasi zetu katika njia zetu, kama kweli tumechagua kumfuata BWANA kwa ukamilifu. Busara ya kweli ni kama tumechagua kutembea na Yesu Kristo. Maisha yetu yawe ni kielelezo kuwa tumechagua kumfuata Yesu Kristo. Tuwe mashuhuda wa imani katika Kristo, kuwa uchaguzi wetu ni katika Baba, Mwana na Roho Mtakatifu.

DEUTORONOMY 30:15-20 (NIV)
15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
17 But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, 18 I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Wise choices;
God gave Israel a choice over life, good, death and evil. The Lord commanded them to keep his commandments, and walk in his ways, and be blessed.
The result of not keeping these commandments is destruction, and not having many days on earth.
God calls us to keep His word in our lives, He has set before us the choice between life and death, blessings and curses. He calls us to choose life, that we may live, we and our offspring. This is the proof of salvation for us, for us and for the whole Church, all the years. That the Church that worships God in spirit and truth will abide forever and see His face.
We will reflect on our position in our ways, if we have truly chosen to follow the Lord fully. True wisdom is if we have chosen to walk with Jesus Christ. May our lives be an example that we have chosen to follow Jesus Christ. Let us be witnesses of the faith in Christ, that our choice is in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
