ALHAMISI TAREHE 2 SEPTEMBA 2021, ASUBUHI

Mithali 24:28-29

28 Usimshuhudie jirani yako pasipo sababu,

Wala usidanganye kwa midomo yako.

29 Usiseme, Nitamtenda kama alivyonitenda mimi;

Nitamlipa mtu huyo sawasawa na tendo lake.

Tuwapende jirani zetu;

Siku njema.

THURSDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2021, MORNING.

Proverbs 24:28-29 (NIV)

28 Do not testify against your neighbor without cause—
    would you use your lips to mislead?
29 Do not say, “I’ll do to them as they have done to me;
    I’ll pay them back for what they did.”

This morning we read about the doctrine of not witnessing to a neighbour inappropriately, nor deceiving. This is an emphasis on speaking well of our neighbours. But also, the lesson teaches us not to take revenge, for revenge is not our job, our job is to forgive.

We should not be slanderers in our society. Hatred does not build, nor does taking vengeance. Let us be forgiving as we teach others by our actions.

Let us not be slanderers and avengers, but let us be defenders.

Good day.
