WEDNESDAY 16TH MAY 2018 MORNING
Luke 11:9-13 New International Version (NIV)
9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[a] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Footnotes:
- Luke 11:11 Some manuscripts for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for
We continue to learn about prayer. God invites us to bring our needs to Him. God loves each one of us. He wants to best for us. God will give us the Holy Spirit to help and guide us and He will give us all that we need. Sometimes He says no or wait if that is the best answer for us. Let us trust in God. Let us persist in prayer.
JUMATANO TAREHE 16 MEI 2018 ASUBUHI
LUKA 11:9-13
9 Nami nawaambia, Ombeni, nanyi mtapewa; tafuteni, nanyi mtaona; bisheni, nanyi mtafunguliwa.
13 Basi, ikiwa ninyi mlio waovu mnajua kuwapa watoto wenu vipawa vyema, je! Baba aliye mbinguni hatazidi sana kuwapa Roho Mtakatifu hao wamwombao?
Tunaendelea kujifunza kuhusu maombi. Tusikate tamaa. Tuvumilie katika maombi.
