Luka 12:58-59
58 Maana, unapofuatana na mshitaki wako kwenda kwa mwamuzi, hapo njiani fanya bidii kupatanishwa naye, asije akakuburuta mpaka mbele ya kadhi; yule kadhi akakutia mikononi mwake mwenye kulipiza, na yule mwenye kulipiza akakutupa gerezani.
59 Nakuambia, Hutoki humo kamwe hata uishe kulipa senti ya mwisho.
Mwenendo wenu uwe na hekima;
Yesu anafundisha makutano kuhusu kupatana. Ni fundisho la waliokosana kupatana kabla ya kupelekana mbele ya Hakimu, ili mmoja wao asiadhibiwe.
Kupatana anakofundisha Yesu ni kutendeana haki, kuheshimiana, na kusameheana. Yote haya yanawezekana tukiongozwa na hekima ya Mungu ituingizayo uzima wa milele.

LUKE 12:58-59
58 As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way, or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. 59 I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.”
Be wise in your behavior;
Jesus is teaching the crowds about reconciliation. It is the doctrine of the dissenters to reconcile before they are brought before the Judge, so that one of them may not be punished.
The harmony Jesus teaches is justice, mutual respect, and forgiveness. All of this is possible only if we are guided by the wisdom of God, which leads to eternal life.
