MONDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2020 MORNING JOHN 15:19-22
JOHN15:19-22 New International Version (NIV)
19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[b] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Since we enjoy Christ’s love and joy and because we are members of the loving family of God, we can endure the hostility of the world. But we need to be prepared for it so that we’re not shocked when it happens.

YOHANA 15:19-22
19 Kama mngekuwa wa ulimwengu, ulimwengu ungewapenda walio wake; lakini kwa kuwa ninyi si wa ulimwengu, bali mimi naliwachagua katika ulimwengu, kwa sababu hiyo ulimwengu huwachukia.
20 Likumbukeni lile neno nililowaambia, Mtumwa si mkubwa kuliko bwana wake. Ikiwa waliniudhi mimi, watawaudhi ninyi; ikiwa walilishika neno langu watalishika na lenu.
21 Lakini haya yote watawatenda kwa ajili ya jina langu, kwa kuwa hawamjui yeye aliyenipeleka.
22 Kama nisingalikuja na kusema nao, wasingalikuwa na dhambi; lakini sasa hawana udhuru kwa dhambi yao.
Kwa kuwa sisi tunaufurahia upendo na raha ya Kristo; na kwa sababu tu sehemu ya familia ya Mungu iliyojaa upendo, tunaweza kuvumilia chuki za duania hii. Lakini tunahitaji kujiandaa kwa ajili hiyo ili shida na dhiki zijapokuja tusipatwe na mshangao.
