Hosea 13:14 New International Version (NIV)
“I will deliver this people from the power of the grave;
I will redeem them from death.
Where, O death, are your plagues?
Where, O grave, is your destruction?
The alienation of the soul from God is a state of death, and from that state man can only escape by being born again.
It is a great joy to know that the Lord's promise to redeem his people from death is certain to be fulfilled. He has passed his word for it. Multitudes of believers die in perfect peace, and some even in triumph, for they are conscious that he is with them.

HOSEA 13:14
14 Nitawakomboa na nguvu za kaburi; nitawaokoa na mauti; ewe mauti, ya wapi mapigo yako? Ewe kaburi, ku wapi kuharibu kwako? Kujuta kutafichwa na macho yangu.
Nafsi iliyotengwa na Mungu ipo katika hali ya kufa; na imempasa mwanadamu kuzaliwa mara ya pili ili aweze kujiokoa na hali hiyo.
Ni Furaha kubwa tunapotambua kuwa Bwana aameahidi na atatimiza ahadi yake ya kuwaokoa watu wake kutoka mauti ya dhambi. Naye Bwana amelisimamisha neno lake kwa ajili ya ahadi hiyo. Wakristo wengi wanakufa katika amani, na wengine huondoka kwa shangwe, kwa kuwa wanashuhudiwa ndani mwao kuwa Bwana Yesu yu pamoja nao.
