Jeremiah 33:14-16 New International Version (NIV)
14 “‘The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.
15 “‘In those days and at that time
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.
16 In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it[a] will be called:
The Lord Our Righteous Savior.’

Remember we are in Advent and we are waiting to celebrate the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ at Christmas. Jeremiah has given us a prophecy about the Messiah, the Savior ,Jesus Christ who was from the tribe of King David.
Let us prepare our hearts to welcome Jesus Christ again into our hearts and lives.

14 Tazama, siku zinakuja, asema Bwana, nitakapolitimiza neno lile jema nililolinena, katika habari za nyumba ya Israeli, na katika habari za nyumba ya Yuda.
15 Katika siku zile, na wakati ule, nitamchipushia Daudi Chipukizi la haki; naye atafanya hukumu na haki katika nchi hii.
16 Katika siku zile Yuda ataokolewa, na Yerusalemu utakaa salama, na jina lake atakaloitwa ni hili, Bwana ni haki yetu.
