WEDNESDAY 4TH APRIL 2018 MORNING
Acts 13:34-40 New International Version (NIV)
34 God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said,
“‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’[a]
35 So it is also stated elsewhere:
“‘You will not let your holy one see decay.’[b]
36 “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed.37 But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.
38 “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39 Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses. 40 Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:

The above words are part of a sermon which Paul gave in the Jewish Synagogue in Pisidian Antioch one Sabbath day. His words begin in verse 16 of this chapter. He told the story of the Jewish people quoting several Jewish scriptures such as Psalms and prophets. He then showed how Jesus Christ the Messiah came to fulfill the Jewish Scriptures.
Have you trusted the risen Lord Jesus as your Saviour? He is the only way to God the Father.

MATENDO 13:34-40
34 Tena ya kuwa alimfufua katika wafu, asipate kurudia uharibifu, amenena hivi, Nitawapa ninyi mambo matakatifu ya Daudi yaliyo amini.
35 Kwa hiyo anena na pengine, Hutamwachia Mtakatifu wako kuona uharibifu,
36 Kwa maana Daudi, akiisha kulitumikia shauri la Mungu katika kizazi chake, alilala, akawekwa pamoja na baba zake, akaona uharibifu.
37 Bali huyu aliyefufuliwa na Mungu hakuona uharibifu.
38 Basi, na ijulikane kwenu, ndugu zangu, ya kuwa kwa huyo mnahubiriwa msamaha wa dhambi;
39 na kwa yeye kila amwaminiye huhesabiwa haki katika mambo yale yote asiyoweza kuhesabiwa haki kwa torati ya Musa.
40 Angalieni, basi, isiwajilie habari ile iliyonenwa katika manabii.
Maneno haya juu ni sehemu ya mahubiri ya Mtume Paulo katika sinagogi la kiyahudi kule Antioki, mji wa Pisidia. Mahubiri ya Paulo yanaanza katika mstari wa 16. Kwanza alielezea historia ya Wayahudi na pia jinsi Yesu Kristo ni Mesihi aliyetimiza utabiri wa Nabii wa Kale. Ananakuu maandiko matakatifu wa Kiyahudi kama Zaburi na Manabii.
Je ! unaamini Yesu Kristo kama Mwokozi wako? Yeye ni njia ya pekee ya kufika kwa Mungu Baba.
