James 1:1-4 New International Version (NIV)

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:
Greetings.
Trials and Temptations
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Trials and testing are like examinations. Students need to be tested regularly so that they and their teachers can see their progress.  God allows us to go through various tests and trials in order to strengthen our faith.
  Let us trust in God and He will help us to grow mature in our faith.

YAKOBO 1:1-4
  
1 Yakobo, mtumwa wa Mungu, na wa Bwana Yesu Kristo, kwa kabila kumi na mbili waliotawanyika; salamu. 
2 Ndugu zangu, hesabuni ya kuwa ni furaha tupu, mkiangukia katika majaribu mbalimbali; 
3 mkifahamu ya kuwa kujaribiwa kwa imani yenu huleta saburi. 
4 Saburi na iwe na kazi kamilifu, mpate kuwa wakamilifu na watimilifu bila kupungukiwa na neno. 

Mwalimu mzuri anatunga mitihani mara kwa mara kupima wanafunzi wake. Matokeo ya mitihani inasaidia Mwalimu kuelewa  wanafunzi wake na kujua jinsi ya kuwasaidia. Pia inasaidia wanafunzi kuelewa eneo gani wanapaswa kuongeza bidii katika masomo. Majaribu yanaotajwa hapa ni kama mithani. Yana tusaidia katika imani yetu ili tukue kiimani.
Tusikate tama tunapopata magumu katika maisha . Bali tujikabidhi kwa Mungu naye atatuwezesha.
