SATURDAY 20TH JANUARY 2018 MORNING
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
This Psalm reminds us that God is watching over us wherever we go. He is a true help in our time of need. He will protect us by day and by night. Let us commit our ways into His hands every day and trust in His guidance and care.

1 Nitayainua macho yangu niitazame milima, Msaada wangu utatoka wapi?
2 Msaada wangu u katika Bwana, Aliyezifanya mbingu na nchi.
3 Asiuache mguu wako usogezwe; Asisinzie akulindaye;
4 Naam, hatasinzia wala hatalala usingizi, Yeye aliye mlinzi wa Israeli.
5 Bwana ndiye mlinzi wako; Bwana ni uvuli mkono wako wa kuume.
6 Jua halitakupiga mchana, Wala mwezi wakati wa usiku.
7 Bwana atakulinda na mabaya yote, Atakulinda nafsi yako.
8 Bwana atakulinda utokapo na uingiapo, Tangu sasa na hata milele.
Zaburi hii inatukumbusha kuhusu msaada wa Mungu. Mungu anatulinda usiku na mchana kila mahali. Tumtegemee kila siku. Tujikabidhi kwake kila siku ile atuongoze na atulinde.
