OMBENI KATIKA JINA LA YESU: KWA UTUKUFU WAKE
KUTOKA 14:15-17
Hivi unajua kwamba kila wakati Mungu anapoinuka na kumwokoa mtu toka katika shida illiyomkwamisha, anajipatia utukufu? Pale Mungu alipowatoa Wana-Israeli toka Misri, pale walipokuwa wakielekea Bahari ya Shamu, Wamisri, wakiwa wamesahaulishwa kabisa hazama waliyoipata juu ya hao Wana-Israeli, wakaamua kuwafuatia ili wawarudishe utumwani. Hili lilikuwa gumu sana kwa Wana-Israeli, ambao ni juzi tu wametoka katika utumwa wa karne nne, na kwa mara ya kwanza wanaonja uhuru! Hata hivyo Mungu hakuwatupa; alimtayarisha Musa na na Yoshua wawaongoze hadi nchi ya ahadi, akiwapa mwongozo wa kiroho na ulinzi!
Nawe pia Mungu hatakuacha, atakulinda na kukufundisha akikuelekeza kutimiza kusudi lako hapa duniani, pale utakapomwomba katika jina la Yesu. Yesu alisema;
"Mimi ndimi mlango; mtu akiingia kwa mimi, ataokoka, ataingia na kutoka, naye atapata malisho" Yohana 10:9.
Uwe na uhakika moyoni kuwa Mungu hataruhusu yanayokuzinga yakuzamishe njiani, alijua kuwa ataingilia kati na kujichukulia utukufu kwa hilo. Katika mstari wa 17 tuliousoma, neno linasema;
"Nami, tazama, nitaifanya mioyo ya Wamisri kuwa migumu, nao wataingia kuwafuatia, nami nitajipatia utukufu kwa Farao, na kwa jeshi lake lote, kwa magari yake na kwa wapanda farasi wake."
Mungu anajua kabisa kuwa atakapoingilia kati atajipatia utukufu! Ila usikosee ukataka kuchukua wewe Sifa na utukufu kwa mafanikio uliyoyapata, ikiwa ulimwomba Yeye akufanikishe! Mungu hashiriki utukufu na yeyote yule. Katika Isaya 42:8 Mungu anasema;
" Mimi ni Bwana; ndilo Jina langu; na utukufu wangu sitampa mwingine, wala sitawapa sanamu sifa zangu."
Mungu ataingilia kuikomboa hali mbaya uliyonayo ukimwomba, kwa sababu ya utukufu atakaojipatia kwa hilo; kwa hiyo akikufanikisha mpe utukufu anaostahili, ni wake! Barikiwa!
PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS: FOR HIS GLORY
EXODUS 14:15-17
Are you aware that every time God moves to deliver a helpless and hopeless individual, He gets some form of glory from it? After God led the children of Israel from Egypt, as they were trekking towards the Red Sea, the Egyptians, forgetting all that they suffered on account of the Israelites, they resolved to go after them and bring them back to slavery! This predicament was too much to the Israelites, who had just begun to savor their sense of freedom for the first time in four hundred years! But God did not leave then alone. He prepared Moses and Joshua to physically lead them while He provided spiritual direction and protection.
Even for you, on your way to your place of destiny, the Lord will not leave you alone. As He led the Israelites, so will he lead you if you ask Him in the name of Jesus. Jesus said at John 10:9;
" I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."
Be assured in your heart that God will not let your current predicament drown you, because he knows that His intervention will definitely bring glory to His name. At verse 17 we read that the Lord said;
" And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horse"
God knows that if He intervenes in any situation, and the situation is resolved, He alone will take the glory. Never attempt to assume His glory, He shares with nobody! At Isaiah 42:8 God says that;
" I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images"
God will surely intervene into your hopeless situation if you ask Him in the name of Jesus, simply because of the glory He will get from it, so never temper with His GLORY! He deserves it, it is His!
