Luke 4:38-44 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Heals Many
38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39 So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.
42 At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them. 43 But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” 44 And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
The Lord Jesus was very busy doing His Father’s work. He preached the Good News of the Gospel and He healed sick and cast out evil spirits. In all this work Jesus depended upon His heavenly Father. He knew that He must spend time in prayer. So He went to a solitary place to pray.
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with work? You have too much to do and not enough time to do it. Don’t forget to take time to be quiet and talk to God. Ask Him to strengthen and guide you. Ask God to help you set priorities and to have a good timetable.

LUKA 4:38-44
38 Akatoka katika sinagogi, akaingia katika nyumba ya Simoni. Naye mkwewe Simoni, mamaye mkewe, alikuwa ameshikwa na homa kali, wakamwomba kwa ajili yake.
39 Akasimama karibu naye, akaikemea ile homa, ikamwacha; mara hiyo akaondoka, akawatumikia.
40 Na jua lilipokuwa likichwa, wote waliokuwa na wagonjwa wenye maradhi mbali mbali waliwaleta kwake, akaweka mikono yake juu ya kila mmoja akawaponya.
41 Pepo nao waliwatoka watu wengi, wakipiga kelele na kusema, Wewe u Mwana wa Mungu. Akawakemea, asiwaache kunena, kwa sababu walimjua kuwa ndiye Kristo.
42 Hata kulipokucha alitoka akaenda mahali pasipokuwa na watu; makutano wakawa wakimtafuta-tafuta, wakafika kwake, wakataka kumzuia asiondoke kwao.
43 Akawaambia, Imenipasa kuihubiri habari njema ya ufalme wa Mungu katika miji mingine pia; maana kwa sababu hiyo nalitumwa.
44 Basi, alikuwa akihubiri katika masinagogi ya Galilaya.
Yesu alikuwa na kazi nyingi kujenga ufalme wa Mungu. Alihubiri Injili na kuponya wagonjwa wengi na kutoa pepo wachafu. Katika kazi zake zote alimtegemea Mungu. Yesu alitafuta nafasi ya kimya kumwomba Mungu.
Unajisikia kulemewa na shughuli nyingi na muda hautoshi? Tafuta nafasi ya maombi. Mwombe Mungu akusaidie kupanga ratiba vizuri na akupe nguvu na hekima kufanya kazi zako.
