2 Wakorintho 5:20-21
20 Basi tu wajumbe kwa ajili ya Kristo, kana kwamba Mungu anasihi kwa vinywa vyetu; twawaomba ninyi kwa ajili ya Kristo mpatanishwe na Mungu.
21 Yeye asiyejua dhambi alimfanya kuwa dhambi kwa ajili yetu, ili sisi tupate kuwa haki ya Mungu katika Yeye.
Yesu ni Mpatanishi
Bwana Asifiwe;
Somo la leo asubuhi linahusu huduma ya upatanisho. Tunaona kuwa Mungu alimtoa Yesu kuwa mpatanishi kati yetu na yeye. Kwa kifo chake alitupatanisha na Mungu.
Mstari wa 20 unatuita sisi tulio wajumbe wa Kristo kupatanishwa na Mungu, na sisi tukawe wapatanishi. Tunatumwa na Kristo kufanya huduma ya upatanisho ili kuleta utengemano kwenye Taifa la Mungu.
Yesu aliye mpatanishi, anatuita tupatanishwe naye, na sisi tukawe wapatanishi.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:20-21
20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Jesus is the Mediator
Praise the Lord;
Today morning's lesson refers to the ministry of reconciliation. We see that God gave Jesus as mediator between us and Him. By His death He reconciled us with God.
Verse 20 calls us messengers of Christ to be reconciled to God, and we to be mediators. We are sent by Christ to perform the ministry of reconciliation to bring about unity in God's Nation.
Jesus, the mediator, calls us to be reconciled to Him, and we to be mediators.
