Proverbs 4:1-5 New International Version (NIV)
1Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding.
2 I give you sound learning,
so do not forsake my teaching.
3 For I too was a son to my father,
still tender, and cherished by my mother.
4 Then he taught me, and he said to me,
“Take hold of my words with all your heart;
keep my commands, and you will live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them.
Christ is the wisdom and the power of God. When we have Christ, then we are walking in the way of truth, life, hope, and peace.

1 Mwanangu, yasikilizeni mausia ya baba yenu, Tegeni masikio mpate kujua ufahamu.
2 Kwa kuwa nawapa mafundisho mazuri; Msiiache sheria yangu.
3 Maana nalikuwa mwana kwa baba yangu, Mpole, mpenzi wa pekee wa mama yangu.
4 Naye akanifundisha, akaniambia, Moyo wako uyahifadhi maneno yangu; Shika amri zangu ukaishi.
5 Jipatie hekima, jipatie ufahamu; usiusahau; Wala usiyakatae maneno ya kinywa changu.
Kristo ni hekima na nguvu ya Mungu. Kristo akiwa ndani yetu, tunatembea katika njia ya kweli, uzima, tumaini na amani.
