TUESDAY 28TH JULY 2020 MORNING PHILLIPIANS 4:10-13
Philippians 4:10-13 New International Version (NIV)
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
The secret of contentment is to be captivated by Christ as the Sovereign to whom we submit; as the Savior whom we serve; and as the Sufficient one whom we trust in every situation.

10 Nalifurahi sana katika Bwana, kwa kuwa sasa mwisho mmehuisha tena fikira zenu kwa ajili yangu, kama vile mlivyokuwa mkinifikiri hali yangu lakini hamkupata nafasi.
11 Si kwamba nasema haya kwa kuwa nina mahitaji; maana nimejifunza kuwa radhi na hali yo yote niliyo nayo.
12 Najua kudhiliwa, tena najua kufanikiwa; katika hali yo yote, na katika mambo yo yote, nimefundishwa kushiba na kuona njaa, kuwa na vingi na kupungukiwa.
13 Nayaweza mambo yote katika yeye anitiaye nguvu.
Siri kubwa ya kuridhika ni kuvutwa na tabia ya Kristo kama Bwana pekee tunayejitoa kwake; kama mkombozi tunayemtumikia; na kama mtoshelevu tunayemtumaini katika nyakati zote.
