Malachi 3:13-15
Israel Speaks Arrogantly Against God
13 “You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord.
“Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’
14 “You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty? 15 But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly, evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it.’”
God's Word is powerful;
After being told of tithing, Malaki writes about the complaints of some believers. Reading from verses 8 to 12, Malachi tells the people to give a full tithing to the Lord, and they shall see his blessings.
Then verse 13 shows that there are those who complain about the work of serving God. Of course, what they complained about is offering to God.
We are responsible for serving the Lord unceasingly. Let us not complain, let's not murmur, let's stop being lazy. This work is about us. God's Word sends us to do His work. But also, when His Word is in us, we will be responsible. Therefore, may the word of God dwell abundantly in our hearts, that we may have no evil words concerning the Lord, on the contrary, believe in Him, love Him, and faithfully serve Him.

Malaki 3:13-15
13 Maneno yenu yamekuwa magumu juu yangu, asema Bwana. Lakini ninyi mwasema, Tumesema maneno juu yako kwa namna gani?
14 Mmesema, Kumtumikia Mungu hakuna faida; na, Tumepata faida gani kwa kuyashika maagizo yake, na kwa kwenda kwa huzuni mbele za Bwana wa majeshi?
15 Na sasa twasema ya kwamba wenye kiburi ndio walio heri; naam, watendao uovu ndio wajengwao; naam, wamjaribuo Mungu ndio waponywao.
Neno la Mungu lina nguvu;
Ni baada ya kuelezwa habari ya zaka, Malaki anaandika kuhusu kunung'unika kwa baadhi ya waamini. Ukisoma kuanzia mstari wa 8 hadi 12, Malaki anawaambia watu kutoa zaka kamili kwa Bwana. Wasimuibie! Na wataona baraka zake.
Ndipo mstari wa 13 unaonyesha kuwa wapo wanaolalamikia kazi ya kumtumikia Mungu. Bila shaka hawa mojawapo ya walichokilalamikia ni kumtolea Mungu.
Sisi tunawajibika kumtumikia Bwana bila kuchoka. Tusilalamike, tusinung'unike, tuache uvivu. Kazi hii inatuhusu. Neno la Mungu linatutuma kuitenda kazi yake. Lakini pia neno lake likiwa ndani yetu tutaweza kuwajibika. Basi neno la Mungu likae kwa wingi mioyoni mwetu, ili tusiwe na maneno mabaya juu ya Bwana, kinyume chake, tumwamini, tumpende, na kumtumikia kwa uaminifu.
