Luke 18:15-17 New International Version (NIV)
The Little Children and Jesus
15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
All Christians should strive to live like such little children. Their simple faith and dependence on others, harmlessness, and freedom from deceit are the areas in which they provide believers with an excellent example. Blessed is the one who can draw near to Christ and His word in the spirit of a little child.

15 Wakamletea na watoto wachanga ili awaguse; lakini wanafunzi walipoona waliwakemea.
16 Bali Yesu akawaita waje kwake, akasema, Waacheni watoto wadogo waje kwangu, wala msiwazuie, kwa kuwa watu kama hao ufalme wa Mungu ni wao.
17 Amin, nawaambia, Mtu ye yote asiyeupokea ufalme wa Mungu kama mtoto mdogo hauingii kamwe.
Wakristo wote hatuna budi kujibidiisha kuishi kama watoto wadogo. Imani yao na utegemezi kwa wengine, kusema kweli na usafi wa moyo; ni mfano mzuri sana kwa wote wanaomwamini Yesu Krsito. Amebarikiwa yeye amkaribiaye Yesu na neno lake kwa tabia ya mtoto mdogo.
