JOHN 3:30 “He must become greater, I must become less”
As Christians, we know that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the debt for our sins and reconcile us to Him. Because of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ, it becomes a new day when we realise that this life is not about us, but about Jesus Christ! Once we discover this and realise that our story is part of a bigger story, His story, our perspective of this world and that of ourselves radically change. We learn to live not for ourselves, but for the one who loves us and died for us. Our life’s purpose becomes for Him who made peace through the blood of His cross, thus not only reconciling us to God the Father, but also all things in earth and those in heaven. We begin to live for His purposes. As we mature, we find that His purposes for us actually become our purposes. Thus we become truly saved and transformed, as we become truly His.

YOHANA 3:30 “Yeye hana budi kuzidi, bali mimi kupungua” (Yohana 3:30)
Wakristo tunajua kuwa Mungu alimtuma mwanawe, Yesu Kristo, alipe deni la dhambi zetu na kutupatanisha na Mungu kupitia Yeye. Na pale tunapotambua uhusiano huu wetu na Mungu kupitia Yesu Kristo, tunahuishwa upya na kutambua kwamba, maisha hayaanzii na kuishia kwetu, bali utimilifu wetu wote wa maisha yetu yote ni juu yake Yesu Kristo. Tunapolitambua hili, na kujua kuwa sisi ni sehemu ya mpango mkubwa sana wa Mungu juu ya maisha yetu, mtazamo wetu juu ya ulimwengu na juu ya maisha yetu, lazima ubadilike. Tunaanza kujifuza kumuishia Yeye aliyetupenda hata kutufia. Tunaishi kwa ajili ya Yeye aliyefanya amani kwa damu ya msalaba, akitupatanisha sio sisi tu na Mungu, bali na vitu vyote vilivyo juu ya nchi, na vilivyo mbinguni. Tunaanza kuishi kwa kusudi lake. Na jinsi tunavyozidi kukua katika hilo, maisha yetu yanabadilika kabisa na kusudi lake linakuwa kusudi letu. Ndiyo kuokoka, kwani tunakuwa wake kamili.
