FRIDAY 18TH MAY 2018 MORNING
Jeremiah 29:12-14 New International Version (NIV)
12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

The above words were a message from God, through the prophet Jeremiah to the rebellious nation of Judah. But this is a promise to us too. Let us seek God with all our heart and we will find Him. God will listen to our prayers when we come to Him in faith and humility. Let us not neglect the great privilege we have in coming to God in prayer.

12 Ndipo neno la Bwana likamjia Yeremia, baada ya Hanania, nabii, kuivunja ile nira iliyokuwa juu ya shingo ya Yeremia, kusema,
13 Enenda ukamwambie Hanania, ukisema, Bwana asema hivi, Umezivunja nira za mti; lakini badala yake utafanya nira za chuma.
14 Maana Bwana wa majeshi, Mungu wa Israeli, asema hivi, Nimetia nira ya chuma juu ya shingo ya mataifa haya yote, ili wamtumikie Nebukadreza, mfalme wa Babeli nao watamtumikia; nami nimempa wanyama wa nchi pia.
Maneno haya juu ni maneno ya Mungu kwa taifa la Yuda yenye uasi. Mungu alimtuma Nabii Yeremiah kufikisha ujumbe huu. Ni maneno ya faraga. Mungu anaongea nasi pia kupitia maneno haya. Maneno haya yaACnatukumbusha umuhimu wa maombi na kumtafuta Mungu kwa moyo wetu wote. Tusidharau neema hii ya kuja mbele za Mungu wetu katika maombi.
