Isaya 59:3-4 (Isaiah)

ALHAMISI TAREHE 26 AGOSTI 2021, ASUBUHI

Isaya 59:3-4

Matumizi ya Ulimi;

Watu walinena isivyompendeza Mungu. Walikuwa waongo.

Siku njema.

THURSDAY 26TH AUGUST 2021. MORNING

ISAIAH 59:3-4 (NIV)

3 For your hands are stained with blood,
    your fingers with guilt.
Your lips have spoken falsely,
    and your tongue mutters wicked things.
No one calls for justice;
    no one pleads a case with integrity.
They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies;
    they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.

Use of Tongue;

The prophet Isaiah was sent to bring the Lord's message, which was about wickedness and injustice. In this morning's lesson, the prophet Isaiah warns against extreme lies and misuse of the tongue in general.

The people said something displeasing to God. They were liars. Isaiah calls everything they do evil. He warns them and tells them to stop, because what they are doing is an abomination to the Lord.

This message reminds us that the misuse of the tongue is an abomination to the Lord. He hates such behaviour. Lies, gossip, slander, insults, and the like are called upon to stop, so that our tongues may be used for the glory of God.

Good day.
