THURSDAY 22^ND DECEMBER 2016 MORNING                             

Isaiah 52:7   New International Version (NIV)

⁷ How beautiful on the mountains
    are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
    who bring good tidings,
    who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
    “Your God reigns!”

We all like to hear good news. These are words of encouragement to God’s people. This is   a message of hope. It was written first to the Jewish people very long ago. God was promising to rescue them from their enemies. It is also a prophecy about  Christ. Jesus Christ is the messenger who brings the good news of salvation. This is truly Good news for all of us. God loves us and Jesus came to reconcile us to God the Father.

7 Jinsi ilivyo mizuri juu ya milima Miguu yake aletaye habari njema, Yeye aitangazaye amani, Aletaye habari njema ya mambo mema, Yeye autangazaye wokovu, Auambiaye Sayuni, Mungu wako anamiliki! 
 

Sisi sote tunapenda habari njema. Maneno haya ni maneno ya kututia moyo watu wa Mungu. Ni ujumbe wa tumaini. Maneno haya yaliandikwa mwanzoni kwa Wayahudi zamani sana. Mungu aliwaahidi kuwaokoa kutoka maadui zao. Lakini pia yanatabiri kuhusu Yesu Kristo. Yesu Kristo ni mjumbe ambaye analeta habari njema ya wokovu. Mungu anatupenda na alimtuma Yesu Kristo duniani kutuokoa. Tumshukuru Mungu kwa habari hii njema.
