JUMANNE TAREHE 20 JULAI 2021
HOSEA 2:18-23
21 Tena itakuwa siku hiyo, mimi nitaitika, asema Bwana; nitaziitikia mbingu, nazo zitaiitikia nchi;
22 nayo nchi itaiitikia nafaka na divai na mafuta; nayo yataiitikia Yezreeli.
23 Nami nitampanda katika nchi kwa ajili yangu mwenyewe; nami nitamrehemu yeye asiyepewa rehema; nami nitawaambia wale wasiokuwa watu wangu, Ninyi ndinyi watu wangu; nao watasema, Wewe ndiwe Mungu wangu.
Neema ya Mungu yatosha;
Bwana anaahidi kumwitikia mwanadamu wakati wote amwitapo. Anaahidi kumrehemu asiyerehemiwa.
Siku njema
TUESDAY 20TH JULY 2021
HOSEA 2:18-23 – (NIV)
18 In that day I will make a covenant for them
with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky
and the creatures that move along the ground.
Bow and sword and battle
I will abolish from the land,
so that all may lie down in safety.
19 I will betroth you to me forever;
I will betroth you in[a] righteousness and justice,
in[b] love and compassion.
20 I will betroth you in[c] faithfulness,
and you will acknowledge the Lord.
21 “In that day I will respond,”
declares the Lord—
“I will respond to the skies,
and they will respond to the earth;
22 and the earth will respond to the grain,
the new wine and the olive oil,
and they will respond to Jezreel.[d]
23 I will plant her for myself in the land;
I will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one.[e]’
I will say to those called ‘Not my people,[f]’ ‘You are my people’;
and they will say, ‘You are my God.’”
God's grace is sufficient;
The Lord promises to respond to man whenever He calls him. He promises to have mercy on the unfortunate. Above all, the Lord promises to be the Lord of all, even those who appear to be not His.
This promise of the Lord we read is a testimony of the grace of God, who is Lord of all. He invites us to come to Him so that we may live in salvation, and by His grace we may inherit eternal life.
Good day
