JESUS CHRIST IS THE GOOD SHEPHERD
Ezekiel 34:27-31 (Mathew 7:9-11)
Ezekiel 34:27-31 New International Version (NIV)
27 The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them. 28 They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid. 29 I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations. 30 Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the Israelites, are my people, declares the Sovereign Lord. 31 You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”
Jesus is the good shepherd, the good shepherd who gives His life for his people. Through this Jesus wants to bring you into a new, stronger covenant relationship with Him. A relationship in which you no longer depend upon the natural, limited resources this world's wealth, but to look to Him and His supernatural provisions for your life. He wants you to draw all that you need from Him. It is His will that there be a continual flow of His promised blessings into your life.
We are now living in a time of restoration.....a time of abundance of the blessings that God promised would come with the establishment of the Kingdom of God that Jesus was preaching about (Mark 1:14-15).
If you are a reader of the Bible, you would have been on a journey through the Word to discover God's plan to prosper and bless His people who walk in a covenant relationship with Him (Eze 34:30).
His desire is that you become one of His people so as to bless you. It is God's will to bless and prosper you. Through His provision in the New Covenant, Jesus has made it possible for you to go directly to the Father, ask whatever you need, in His name and you will receive it.
God blessed and prospered Israel with abundance under the Old Covenant, which was based upon the blood of bulls and goats. How much more will God prosper and bless us today under the New Covenant, which is sealed and made effective by the blood of Jesus. Under this covenant relationship, God is our Father, and we are His very own children and we have DIRECT ACCESS to Him. Christ made this possible through the offering of Himself as the supreme sacrifice.
Jesus said; "....Whatsoever you ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you...ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:23-24).
What is your greatest need today?
At Mathew 7:9-11 Jesus compares our relationship with the Father to our earthly relationship to our own children. One of the greatest joy as a parent is to give to our children the very best of all the things they need and desire.
Jesus is asking that if we know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will our Father in heaven give good gifts to those that ask Him?
HOW MUCH MORE will your Heavenly Father supply your financial needs!
HOW MUCH MORE will your Heavenly Father bless and prosper you!
HOW MUCH MORE will your Heavenly Father meet every need in your life!
Know that, it is God's will to prosper you, and that you should know His promises and act upon them in faith, and also honour Him with your "substance". But also know that God is your source of supply, and therefore saturate your heart and mind with the Word and walk in obedience to it. Lastly, ask in faith and you will receive.
YESU KRISTO NI MCHUNGAJI MWEMA - ANATUTUNZA
Ezekiel 34:27-31 (Mat 7:9-11)
Tambua kuwa;
-
Ni mpango wa Mungu kukutajirisha
-
-
Kisha omba kwa imani naye Mungu atakupa.
Tafakari sana hili!
