THURSDAY 7TH MAY 2020 MORNING 2CORINTHIANS 12:19-21
2 Corinthians 12:19-21 New International Version (NIV)
19 Have you been thinking all along that we have been defending ourselves to you? We have been speaking in the sight of God as those in Christ; and everything we do, dear friends, is for your strengthening. 20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder. 21 I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.
From this passage, Apostle Paul reminds us that Christians must show signs of God’s work in their life. We must reveal sacrificial character and exhibit godly fear in all areas of our lives.

WAKORINTHO 12:19-21
19 Mwadhani hata sasa ya kuwa najidhuru kwenu! Mbele za Mungu twanena katika Kristo. Na hayo yote, wapenzi, ni kwa ajili ya kuwajenga ninyi.
20 Maana nachelea, nisije nikawakuta si kama vile nitakavyo kuwakuta, nikaonekana kwenu si kama vile mtakavyo; nisije nikakuta labda fitina na wivu, na ghadhabu, na ugomvi, na masingizio, na manong'onezo, na majivuno, na ghasia;
21 nami nitakapokuja tena, Mungu wangu asije akanidhili kwenu, nami nikawasikitikia wengi waliokosa tangu hapo, wasiutubie uchafu, na uasherati, na ufisadi walioufanya.
Mtume Paulo anatukumbusha katika kifungu hiki cha maandiko kuwa, maisha ya Wakristo wanapaswa kushuhudia kazi za Mungu. Imetupasa kuishi maisha ya kujitoa kwa ajili ya wengine na kudhihirisha hofu ya Mungu katika kila tulitendalo maishani mwetu.
