JUMATANO TAREHE 10 NOVEMBA 2021, ASUBUHI
1 Wathesalonike 4:13-17
13Lakini, ndugu, hatutaki msijue habari zao waliolala mauti, msije mkahuzunika kama na wengine wasio na matumaini.
14Maana, ikiwa twaamini ya kwamba Yesu alikufa akafufuka, vivyo hivyo na hao waliolala katika Yesu, Mungu atawaleta pamoja naye.
15Kwa kuwa twawaambieni haya kwa neno la Bwana, kwamba sisi tulio hai, tutakaosalia hata wakati wa kuja kwake Bwana, hakika hatutawatangulia wao waliokwisha kulala mauti.
16Kwa sababu Bwana mwenyewe atashuka kutoka mbinguni pamoja na mwaliko, na sauti ya malaika mkuu, na parapanda ya Mungu; nao waliokufa katika Kristo watafufuliwa kwanza.
17 Kisha sisi tulio hai, tuliosalia, tutanyakuliwa pamoja nao katika mawingu, ili tumlaki Bwana hewani; na hivyo tutakuwa pamoja na Bwana milele.
Uenyeji wa mbinguni;
Waraka tuliousoma una ujumbe wa kuja kwa Bwana. Unatutaka kujua kuwa ipo habari ya kulala mauti, na wahusika ni sisi. Na mwisho Yesu atarudi.
Leo asubuhi naweka msisitizo kwenye kurudi kwa Yesu, kuwa atakaporudi, wale waliokufa katika Kristo watafufuliwa kwanza (16) na waumini walio hai watanyakuliwa kumlaki Bwana Yesu mawinguni. Kila mmoja wetu ahakikishe anakufa katika Kristo.
Hakikisha umetubu dhambi zako kabla hujalala.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 (NIV)
Believers Who Have Died
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Cititizen of Heaven.
The epistle we read contains the message of the second coming of the Lord. The writer want us to know that there is death, and the characters are us. And finally Jesus will return.
This morning I place emphasis on the return of Jesus, that when He returns, those who have died in Christ will be raised first (16) and the living believers will be caught up to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds. Let each of us make sure he/she dies in Christ.
Make sure you repent of your sins before you go to bed.
