Mark 1:12-13 New International Version (NIV)
12 At once the Spirit sent him out into the wilderness, 13 and he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted[a] by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.

After Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist, and God declared Him in a loud voice from heaven, that he was his beloved son (Mark 1:9-11), Satan took Jesus to the desert to tempt (test) him. If you read further in this chapter you will see that Jesus defeated Satan by the word of God.
If Jesus the son of God was tested, so will you. But know that with the power of the word of God, you will win. Take time to study and meditate in the word of God daily so you can overcome temptation.

MARKO 1:12-13
12 Mara Roho akamtoa aende nyikani.
13 Akawako huko jangwani siku arobaini, hali akijaribiwa na Shetani; naye alikuwa pamoja na wanyama wa mwitu, na malaika walikuwa wakimhudumia.
Baada ya Yesu kubatizwa na Yohana Mbatizaji, na Mungu kumtangaza kwa sauti kubwa kutoka mbinguni, kwamba alikuwa mwana wake mpendwa (Marko 1: 9-11), Shetani akamchukua Yesu jangwani ili kumjaribu. Ukisoma zaidi katika sura hii utaona kwamba Yesu alimshinda Shetani kwa neno la Mungu.
Kama Yesu mwana wa Mungu alijaribiwa, ndivyo itakavyokuwa kwako pia. Lakini ujue kwamba kwa nguvu ya neno la Mungu, utashinda. Tenga muda wa kujifunza na kutafakari neno la Mungu kila siku ili uweze kushinda majaribu.
