JUMATATU TAREHE 6 SEPTEMBA 2021, ASUBUHI.
2 Mambo ya Nyakati 30:21-22
21 Nao wana wa Israeli waliohudhuria Yerusalemu wakafanya sikukuu ya mikate isiyochachwa siku saba kwa furaha kubwa; Walawi na makuhani wakamsifu BWANA siku kwa siku, wakimwimbia BWANA kwa vinanda vyenye sauti kuu.
22 Hezekia akawafurahisha mioyo Walawi wote waliokuwa wastadi wa kumtumikia BWANA. Basi muda wa siku saba wakala sikukuu, wakitoa dhabihu za sadaka za amani, na kumtolea shukrani BWANA, Mungu wa baba zao.
Uwakili wetu kwa Bwana;
Israeli walikusanyika Yerusalemu kusherehekea Pasaka (mst 13), ambapo walimsifu kwa kumwimbia Bwana kwa vinanda na shangwe kuu. Hii ilitokana na wao kutambua na kuuona ukuu wa Bwana, ndio maana tunaona wakitoa dhabihu za sadaka, wakitoa shukrani kwa Bwana.
Hapa tunaitwa kutambua ukuu wa Bwana, kwa kutupa dunia tuitunze na kutujalia neema wakati wote, hivyo kumtolea shukrani zetu. Shukrani zetu ni mioyo iliyopondeka, lakini mali alizotupa kwa ajili ya kazi yake.
Sisi ni watunzaji tu, hivyo tumtolee aliyetupa kwa ajili ya utukufu wake. Uwe na wiki njema, yenye baraka tele na mafanikio.
MONDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2021, MORNING
2 CHRONICLES 30:21-22 (NIV)
21 And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness; And the Levites and the priests praised Jehovah day by day, [singing] with loud instruments unto Jehovah.
22 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the Levites that were with him, did service the LORD with all their heart. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
Our stewardship to the Lord;
Israel gathered in Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover (v. 13), where they praised Him by singing to the Lord with harps and with great joy. This was because they recognized and saw the greatness of the Lord, which is why we see them offering sacrificial offerings, giving thanks to the Lord.
Here we are called to recognize the greatness of the Lord, by giving us the world to take care of, and give us grace at all times, thus giving him our thanks. Our gratitude is broken hearts, but the wealth he gave us for his work.
We are only stewards, so give to Him who gave us, for His glory.
