6 Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy[a] unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.[b]

The Book of Song of Solomon, also called Song of Songs can be taken at two levels. On the surface it is a love song depicting the joys of love between husband and wife. It can also be spiritualized and symbolize the relationship between God and the believer.
God desires to be close to us His children. God is often depicted as a Father. In The New Testament in the writings of the Apostles Paul and Peter he relationship between husband and wife is likened to that between Christ and the church.
May God give us grace to truly love Him and to love our spouse.

6 Nitie kama muhuri moyoni mwako, Kama muhuri juu ya mkono wako; Kwa maana upendo una nguvu kama mauti, Na wivu ni mkali kama ahera. Mwako wake ni mwako wa moto, Na miali yake ni miali ya Yahu.
Kitabu cha Wimbo ulio Bora kinaweza kusomeka kwa njia mbili. Kwanza ni kama wimbo ya Upendo na kimapenzi Kati ya Mume na mke. Kinasifia furaha ya upendo ndani ya ndoa. Pili kinaweza kusomeka kiroho kama maelezo ya Upendo Kati ya Mungu na binadamu.
Kumbuka hata katika Agano Jipya Paulo na Petro katika nyaraka zao wanalinganisha upendo Kati ya Mume na Mke na ule katika Yesu Kristo na Kanisa, yaani Wakristo.
Tumwombe Mungu atuwezeshe kumpenda yeye zaidi na pia kuwapenda mwenzi wetu.
