Acts 2:36-38 (NIV)

SATURDAY 4TH MARCH 2017 MORNING

Acts 2:36-38 New International Version (NIV)

36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This is the end of the Apostle Peter’s sermon on the day of Pentecost. After this 3000 people believed the Gospel as preached by Peter and they were baptized.  This is recognized as the official birth of the Christian Church.

Thank God that you are part of the World wide Christian church which began in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.

Pray for the church to continue to grow in numbers and spiritual depth.

JUMAMOSI TAREHE 4 MACHI 2017 ASUBUHI

MATENDO 2:36-38
