Revelation 4:1-6 New International Version (NIV)
The Throne in Heaven
1 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. 3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a] of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.

The book of Revelation contains the visions given to the Apostle John when he was imprisoned on the Island of Patmos. It contains many visions of heaven. Much of it is written symbolic language. It was written to encourage the persecuted Christians. The Twenty four Elders probably represent the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 Apostles. The numbers 12 and 7 and 4 used in the passage are all important numbers used in the Bible.
We may not understand everything about heaven and what will happen at the end of the world. We do have the assurance that Jesus Christ will come back to earth in glory and take all those who trust in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour to heaven to be with their Saviour forever.
Make sure that you have trust in Jesus.

UFUNUO 4:1-6
1 Baada ya hayo naliona, na tazama, mlango ukafunguka mbinguni, na sauti ile ya kwanza niliyoisikia kama sauti ya baragumu ikinena nami, ikisema, Panda hata huku, nami nitakuonyesha mambo ambayo hayana budi kuwako baada ya hayo.
2 Na mara nalikuwa katika Roho; na tazama, kiti cha enzi kimewekwa mbinguni na mmoja ameketi juu ya kile kiti;
3 na yeye aliyeketi alionekana mithili ya jiwe la yaspi na akiki, na upinde wa mvua ulikizunguka kile kiti cha enzi, ukionekana mithili ya zumaridi.
4 Na viti ishirini na vinne vilikizunguka kile kiti cha enzi, na juu ya vile viti naliona wazee ishirini na wanne, wameketi, wamevikwa mavazi meupe; na juu ya vichwa vyao walikuwa na taji za dhahabu.
5 Na katika kile kiti cha enzi kunatoka umeme na sauti na ngurumo. Na taa saba za moto zilikiwaka mbele ya kile kiti cha enzi, ndizo Roho saba za Mungu.
6 Na mbele ya kile kiti cha enzi kulikuwa na mfano wa bahari ya kioo, kama bilauri; na katikati ya kile kiti cha enzi, na pande zote za kile kiti, walikuwako wenye uhai wanne, wamejaa macho mbele na nyuma.
Kitabu cha Ufunuo wa Yohana ni maono ambayo Mtume Yohana alipewa na Mungu wakati alikuwa mfungwa katika kisiwa cha Patmo. Kitabu kina maelezo kuhusu siku za mwisho na kuhusu Mbinguni. Imeandikwa kwa lugha ya picha ambaoe wakristo wa wakati ule wangeelewa, lakini maana yake ilifichwa kwa maadui zao.
Inawezekana kwamba wazee 24 ambao walitajwa ni alama ya Kabila 12 za Israeli na Mitume 12. Namba 12, na 7 na 4 ni katika namba muhimu zinazotumika katika Biblia. Namba 7 ni namba ya Ukamilifu na Utakatifu.
Kuna baadhi ya vitu kuhusu Siku za Mwisho na Mbinguni ambavyo vimefichwa. Lakini ujumbe wa hakika tunao kwamba Yesu atarudi tena duniani kuchukua kanisa lake. Kanisa lake ni Wakristo wote wa nchi zote na vizazi vyote ambao tulimtegemea Yesu Kristo kama Bwana na Mwokozi wetu. Yesu atawachukua mbinguni kuishi nao milele. Uhakikishe kuwa upo tayari ili Yesu Kristo akirudi usiachwe.
