Daniel 9:20-23 New International Version (NIV)
The Seventy “Sevens”
20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill— 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice.22 He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. 23 As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision:
We have read about Daniel’s prayers. He prayed and as part of his prayers to God He confessed his own sins and the sins of the Israelites. God heard his prayer and sent the Angel Gabriel to answer his prayers.
Remember to confess your sins when you come to God in prayer. You can also confess the sins of your family, tribe or nation. Expect God to hear and answer your prayers. Wait patiently and listen to what God is telling you.

DANIELI 9:20-23
20 Basi hapo nilipokuwa nikisema, na kuomba, na kuiungama dhambi yangu, na dhambi ya watu wangu Israeli, na kuomba dua yangu mbele za Bwana, Mungu wangu, kwa ajili ya mlima mtakatifu wa Mungu wangu;
21 naam, nilipokuwa nikinena katika kuomba, mtu yule, Gabrieli, niliyemwona katika njozi hapo kwanza, akirushwa upesi, alinigusa panapo wakati wa dhabihu ya jioni.
22 Akaniagiza, akaongea nami, akasema, Ee Danielii, nimetokea sasa, ili nikupe akili upate kufahamu.
23 Mwanzo wa maombi yako ilitolewa amri, nami nimekuja kukupasha habari; maana wewe unapendwa sana; basi itafakari habari hii, na kuyafahamu maono haya.
Tumesoma habari za sala za Danieli. Katika sala zake alikumbuka kutubu dhambi zake na dhambi za Waisraeli.
Mungu alisikia maombi yake na alituma Malaika Gabrieli kumjibu.
Kumbuka kutubu dhambi zako ukifika mbele za Mungu katika maombi. Unaweza pia kutubu kwa niaba ya wengine kama familia yako, ukoo wako, kabila yako na taifa lako. Msikilize Mungu atasikia na atajibu maombi yako.
