UTATU MTAKATIFU: UMEDHIHIRISHWA ILI TUKAMILIKE KATIKA UMOJA NDANI YA KRISTO YESU
Yohana 17:20-23
20 Wala si hao tu ninaowaombea; lakini na wale watakaoniamini kwa sababu ya neno lao.
21 Wote wawe na umoja; kama wewe, Baba, ulivyo ndani yangu, nami ndani yako; hao nao wawe ndani yetu; ili ulimwengu upate kusadiki ya kwamba wewe ndiwe uliyenituma.
22 Nami utukufu ule ulionipa nimewapa wao; ili wawe na umoja kama sisi tulivyo umoja.
23 Mimi ndani yao, nawe ndani yangu, ili wawe wamekamilika katika umoja; ili ulimwengu ujue ya kuwa ndiwe uliyenituma, ukawapenda wao kama ulivyonipenda mimi.
"...ili wawe na umoja kama sisi tulivyo umoja....ili wawe wamekamilika katika umoja..."
Je! Unajua kuwa kabla Bwana Yesu hajapaa kwenda kwa Baba alikuombea maombi haya? Ndiyo, wewe! Tena maombi haya yalikuwa rasmi kwa ajili yako. Katika maombi haya imo siri kubwa juu ya kuishi maisha ya ushindi yaliyojaa uweza na baraka tele za Mungu.
Na siri yenyewe ni hii, kwamba tuwe wamoja na Mungu!
Ni pale tu ambayo tutakuwa wamoja na Yesu Kristo ndiyo tutakapoweza kuzitenda kazi halisi za Mungu. Hali hii ya kuwa mmoja na Kristo ni hali ambayo mtu anaifikia katika maisha yake kama mkristo, na ni nafasi kubwa sana kuliko nafasi yoyote ile ambayo mtu anaweza kubarikiwa na Mungu. Mpaka mtu afikie ngazi hiyo ndiyo Mungu anaweza kumtumia katika jeshi lake. Bila kuwa na huo umoja hutakamilika na kujiona unapwaya katika ufalme wake.
Neno linatuambia kuwa; "Maana katika Yeye unakaa utimilifu wote wa Mungu, kwa jinsi ya kimwili. Na ninyi mmetimilika katika Yeye aliye kichwa cha enzi yote na mamlaka" (Kol 2:9-10). Kinachosemwa hapa ni kwamba, kwa kuwa Kristo ndiye "mkuu wa falme zote na mamlaka yote", ukiwa ndani yake Yeye unakuwa umekamilika. Hutapungukiwa na kitu chochote; utakuwa na mamlaka yote.
Kwa hiyo, ni lazima kuwa ndani ya Kristo ili uwezo wake udhihirike ndani yetu na watu wauone. Yoyote anayeamini, hufanywa mmoja na Kristo pale anapozaliwa mara ya pili. Hapo ndipo Mungu wa Utatu anapoishi ndani yake. Na pale yule anayeamini, ambaye Kristo yumo ndani yake anapopungua, Roho wa Mungu hudhihirika zaidi hadi unachokiona kwa yule aliye ndani ya Kristo, ni Bwana wetu, Yesu Kristo tu.
Litafute hili kwa uwezo wako wote na kulipata ili furaha yako katika Kristo itimilike, na Kanisa lake lichukue nafasi yake hapa ulimwenguni.

Jesus Prays for All Believers
20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
"...that they may be one, even as we are one...that they may be made perfect in one..."
Do you know that before Jesus ascended to heaven He prayed this special prayer just for you? Yes! Just for you! In this prayer lies one of the greatest secrets to living a life filled with the power and blessings of God.
The secret? That we may be ONE with God.
Only when we have truly become one with Jesus Christ, are we able to work the works of God. This position in Christ is a point that is reached in your Christian experience that is far deeper than the point of blessing. And until one reaches that point, one will not be fulfilling the role God wants for anyone in His army. You will see a missing element in that one because he or she is not complete.
The scripture tells us; " For in Him ( Christ) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power." (Colossians 2:9-10). This means that since Christ is the "head of all principality and power", if you abide in Him, then you are made complete. You will lack nothing; you will have all the power!
It is therefore very crucial that we must abide in Christ before His power can flow freely through us. The believer is made one with Christ when he is born again. And that is when the Triune God dwells within him. As the believer decreases, the Spirit of God increases until all that can be seen is the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Seek this with all your might, so that your joy in Christ may be full, and make it possible for the Church to take its rightful position.
