John 10:17-18 (Yohana 10:17-18) - 11-05-2019

John 10:17-18 New International Version (NIV)

17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Jesus Christ God’s Son was with His Father in heaven from all eternity. But He took on humanity and was born in Bethlehem  over 2000 years ago. Jesus performed many miracles and taught many people when He was on earth.  But the main reason Jesus came to earth was to die for us on the cross. Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins so that we can be forgiven. He rose again in victory. Thank God that Jesus died so that you can be friends with God.

Yohana 10:17-18
17 Ndiposa Baba anipenda, kwa sababu nautoa uhai wangu ili niutwae tena. 
18 Hakuna mtu aniondoleaye, bali mimi nautoa mwenyewe. Nami ninao uweza wa kuutoa, ninao na uweza wa kuutwaa tena. Agizo hilo nalilipokea kwa Baba yangu. 

Yesu Kristo alikuwa mbinguni na Mungu Baba tangu milele. Lakini alichukuwa ubinadamu na kuzaliwa kule Bethlehemu zaidi ya miaka 2000 iliyopita. Yesu alitenda miujiza mingi na kufundisha watu wengi. Lakini kazi yake kuu hapa duniani ni kufa msalabani kama dhabihu kulipa deni ya dhambi zetu. Alikufa na alifufuka tena kama mshindi.
Mshukuru Mungu kwamba Yesu Kristo alikufa kwa ajili yako ili uwe rafiki wa Mungu.
