Ezra 10:4 - 11-01-2019

FRIDAY 11TH JANUARY 2019 MORNING                                      

Ezra 10:4 New International Version (NIV)

4 Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.”

These words were said to Ezra by one of his fellow Jews. He was urged to lead the people in repenting of their sins and turning back to God. This verse has often been used to inspire Christians to be involved in God’s work. Let us know that each of us is called by God and He has a specific work for us to do. Let us not leave it to others but let us seek diligently to know what God wants us to do and then in His strength to do it.

Ezra 10:4

 Inuka; maana shughuli hii yakuhusu wewe; na sisi tu pamoja nawe; uwe na moyo mkuu, ukaitende. 

Maneno haya juu yalisemwa na Mwisraeli mwingine kwa Ezra. Alikuwa anamtia moyo kuongoza Waisraeli kutubu dhambi zao na kurejea kwa Mungu.

Maneno haya pia yametumika katika ibada zetu kuhamasisha wakristo kufaya kazi ya Mungu. Tuelewi kwamba Mungu ana kazi anayotaka kila Mkristo afanye. Tusiache kwa watu wengine tu. Tumwobee Mungu atuonyeshe wajibu wetu na atusaidia kutekeleza kwa uaminifu.
