THURSDAY 19TH JULY 2018 MORNING
Isaiah 43:20-25 New International Version (NIV)
20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
22 “Yet you have not called on me, Jacob,
you have not wearied yourselves for[a] me, Israel.
23 You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings,
nor honored me with your sacrifices.
I have not burdened you with grain offerings
nor wearied you with demands for incense.
24 You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me,
or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices.
But you have burdened me with your sins
and wearied me with your offenses.
25 “I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.

God is sad that His people have not shown love and devotion to Him in response to all His blessings to them. God loves His people the chosen Nation of Israel as He also loves the church. God desires that we should have a close relationship to Him and appreciate Him and spend time with Him. God is happy when we come to Him in praise and worship and bring to Him our thank offerings.

ISAYA 43:20-25
20 Wanyama wa kondeni wataniheshimu, mbweha pia na mbuni; kwa sababu nimewapa maji jangwani, na mito nyikani, ili kuwanywesha watu wangu, wateule wangu;
21 watu wale niliojiumbia nafsi yangu, ili wazitangaze sifa zangu.
22 Lakini hukuniita, Ee Yakobo, bali umechoka nami, Ee Israeli.
23 Hukuniletea wana-kondoo kuwa kafara zako, wala hukuniheshimu kwa dhabihu zako. Sikukutumikisha kwa matoleo, wala sikukuchosha kwa ubani.
24 Hukuninunulia manukato kwa fedha, wala hukunishibisha kwa mafuta ya sadaka zako; bali umenitumikisha kwa dhambi zako, umenichosha kwa maovu yako.
25 Mimi, naam, mimi, ndimi niyafutaye makosa yako kwa ajili yangu mwenyewe, wala sitazikumbuka dhambi zako.
Mungu ana huzuni wakati watu wake hawaonyeshi upendo kwake. Mungu anapenda Taifa takatifu Israeli na Kanisa lake. Mungu anatubariki kwa njia nyingi. Tupende kuwa karibu na Mungu. Mungu anapenda ibada na sifa na sadaka. Anataka kuwa karibu na watu wake. Tuonyeshe upendo na shukrani zetu kwa Mungu.
