Ephesians 5:29-33 New International Version (NIV)
29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[a] 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Ephesians 5:31 Gen. 2:24
The Apostle Paul likens the relationship between a husband and his wife to that between Jesus Christ and Christians.
He shows how deeply a husband and wife should be committed to one another and love honour and care for one another.
May God bless our marriages. Pray for young people preparing for marriage that they would truly understand the meaning of marriage.
ALHAMISI TAREHE 18 JANUARI 2018 ASUBUHI
Mungu abariki ndoa zetu. Tuombee vijana ambao wanajiandaa kuoana ili waelewe kweli maana ya ndoa.
